Assessing the Impact of Community-Led Total Sanitation and Sustainability of WASH Services in the Mion District of Northern Ghana

The study was conducted in the Mion District of Northern Region with objective evaluating impact community-led total sanitation (CLTS) and sustainability WASH services. design mainly quantitative, which a sample 225 employed to collect data. found that 73.4% indicated their toilets have hand washing facilities for hands after defecating, 62.2% respondents had facilities, running water, soap people who use toilets. Before CLTS District, 84.0 percent besides cost constructing toilets, other factors made it difficult them not homes. Over eighty-four (84.4%) they needed technical support from government benevolent organizations help construct recommends should ensure harmonization activities by non-governmental implementation CLTS. Further education community members cooperation between governmental, non-governmental, chiefs are essential sustainability.
